One of the services of Sathyam Service Trust is distributing free wheelchairs to people with locomotor disability and elderly who hail from financially weaker backgrounds. So far, during the past decade we have distributed around 1 Lakh wheelchairs all over India and impacted the lives of the needy. As part of celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 03rd, we distributed free wheelchairs for those with locomotor disability and age-related issues with walking, from poor backgrounds. Sathyam Ministries’ head office a.k.a Sathya Koodaram was the venue of the event. The distribution of free wheelchairs was held at 03:00 pm on 03rd December 2022 and it ended by 05:00 pm. Kaviyoor panchayath President Mr. M. D. Dineshkumar gave the inaugural address whereas the Chairman of Sathyam Service Trust Dr. C. V. Vadavana gave the presidential address. Wheelchairs were distributed right away to the applicants on their needs basis. Those who submitted the application forms with necessary documents were given the wheelchairs as per their medical requirements. Holy Bibles were also given to everyone to keep them strong in their faith.

Under the leadership of Dr.C.V Vadavana ( Director and Chairman of Sathyam Ministries) Sathyam Service Trust and Pushpagiri Medical College distributed free wheelchairs and walkers to the needy, disabled and elderly people from poor backgrounds with the guidance of therapists and experts.The distribution of free wheelchairs was held on 18,19,21&22, March 2023, it was a great success and helpful for many people with special needs.
