Quarterly Newsletter Oct. 2008 - Jan. 2009

Education plays a very important role in every ones life. And when we are talking about education, it is very important that we know How are we getting it? Where are we getting it? It is not only the books from which we get the education, but in every phase of life activity we get education.

That's why our SATHYAM MISSION SCHOOL is a place where we give the real education to our children. We care for our children in all aspects, we know the needs of our children and keeping in mind these needs, we impart education which ultimately makes an overall development of the student i.e. moral, physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual life.

The term began with a lot of jostling activities and celeberations. These are some glimpses:

  • Sathyam Mission School on picnic:                                                                                            13 December, 2009: The pre-primary section and the students of grade one of the Sathyam Mission School along with the students of Sathyaniketan orphanage had a vibrant and boisterous picnic at the Bhuj Hill garden on 13 December, 2009. There were about 117 students and 11 staffs.

Each student was provided with an apple, biscuit and chips for breakfast. The children also enjoyed the sumptuous lunch from the garden canteen.

The children took pleasure on few rides and the sight of the skeleton of whale fish really astounded and amazed the toddlers.

At the end of the picnic, the children were filled with  an air of content and happiness. The picnic indeed gave them yet another reason to smile and laugh.

The faculties are now planning for two more picnics for students of other grades.

  • Inter-House Cricket match tournament:
22 October 2009: An inter-house cricket match was held between the joint teams of Blue and Green and Red and Yellow, on 22 October 2009. While the Blue-Green house won the match, Aktar of grade four was declared Man of the Match. The students enjoyed the match as well as the strong competitive spirit among the teams.

We celebrated this auspicious occasion to spread the message of peace among the Indians by exhibiting the drawings of the children of Sathyam Mission School and also other schools of the city.
