CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR MESSAGE
Dear friend in Christ,
Greetings of Peace and Joy in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior!
Jesus Christ came to this world to lead us to righteousness. He showed us kindness through love. The true essence of Christianity is to love and care for your fellow beings. He taught us to love our neighbor as our own brother. Caring, sharing and kindness are all the elements that add up to that big word.
The actual meaning of Christmas relies on God's love for the world because otherwise He would not have sent His Son to die on the cross. Christmas serves as a reminder to the world that God loves everyone and that He made it possible for sins to be forgiven through the life and death of His son, Jesus. Jesus did what no other person could have done: He left His heavenly abode to travel to earth and sacrifice His life in order to atone for human sin. Jesus made the decision to enter this planet as an infant despite knowing that He would eventually die on the cross. Christmas commemorates the Savior and the ultimate price He paid for humanity's reconciliation with God.
Christmas celebrates God's appearance in this world of death, misery, and darkness to offer life, healing, and light. He brought Hope to our life. Christmas serves as a reminder that Christ entered this earth to dwell among us (John 1:14), providing us the comfort of knowing that "God with Us" (Matthew 2:23) is present even while we are suffering. In order to meet us where we are in our troubles and in our quest for purpose in life, God exposed Himself to us as a human being and came to us.
The wonderful, sincere reflection on the real meaning of Christmas—greatest God's gift to us—found in the book Purpose of Christmas. Whatever your origin, faith, troubles, or status, Christmas is unquestionably the finest news you could get. Author Rick Warren describes how God created Christmas to address your three greatest needs in a strong yet kind voice. He also shows how realising and accepting God's three Christmas gifts to you will change your life forever. You'll find out how to: Determine what keeps you from feeling at peace and deal with it. Live a life of unwavering trust, knowing that God will see you through the difficulties of life. Celebrate Christmas' importance and promise. Obtain tranquilly in your life as a result of God giving us the greatest gift of all—Jesus!
